Now NASA wants to involve YOU in the excitement of Mars exploration and discovery! The Mars Exploration Student Data Teams (MESDT) is a unique opportunity to become part of the science team for NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter mission.

From around the country, selected teams will work with scientists to analyze data during the mission, and reach out to other students, teachers, and the public through presentations, articles, and web sites.

Following a period of preparation and special training, teachers and students will begin analyzing real Mars data and images to help explore the surface of Mars. It could be you!
